Stockholm, Sweden (Sports Network) - Second-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska and third-seeded Emilie Loit highlighted Wednesday's second-round winners at the $145,000 Nordic Light Open.
The Polish Radwanska took care of her qualifier countrywoman Marta Domachowska 6-0, 6-3, while the French Loit outlasted Spanish veteran Virginia Ruano Pascual 4-6, 7-6 (7-1), 7-6 (9-7) on the hardcourts at Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
Another seeded victor was No. 8 Russian Vera Dushevina, who handled Finnish wild card Emma Laine 6-3, 6-3 on Day 3.
In other second-round action, German qualifier Julia Goerges overcame Czech Klara Zakopalova 0-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) and Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova doused German Anna-Lena Groenefeld 6-4, 6-4. Goerges will meet Loit in the quarterfinals on Friday.
On Thursday, top-seeded Spaniard Anabel Medina Garrigues will play her second- rounder against Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova.
